RIP Kiki

August 13, 2018

This summer was so insanely busy! I didn't get to do all the things I said I was going to do for summer 2018 in the city, but I did still have fun. Aside from school, work, and projects, I got a new bike that I ride on Lakeshore (living the Chicago dream LOL), attended some events around the city, and got to host the 2nd Annual Docademia Award Ceremony at 1871! To be honest, I'm exhausted and haven't been home since June, I'm hoping to take a week trip somewhere before or a week after school starts because Fall Semester is literally around the corner. The hustle never ends and I've been working my @$$ off this summer!! I have so many projects coming up in fall and of course my thesis project will finally be taking off, and yes I know I need to get on that for my blog as well! Here's a look at my Chicago summer 2018...

And yes, I did make my way around the city (and the suburbs) to eat! Here's a collection of the amazing food I had this summer:

Thanks for a fun and festive summer! As I'll be celebrating my 1 year move anniversary, I can't believe how fast the year flew by, but at the same time also feels like I've been here forever. Chicago is starting to feel like home, and all us first years have come such a long way., This program has opened my eyes to so many possibilities this past year and I'm looking forward to the next! Time to get into back to school mode...
